Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers about referrals, direct billing, MVA and WCB appointments, walk-ins, first visits, and booking physiotherapy in Airdrie.

Do I need a doctor referral for physiotherapy?

No referral is required to book private physiotherapy at Motion Crafters. Your insurer, WCB claim, or MVA file may have separate authorization or reimbursement requirements, so check the applicable plan if you are unsure.

Do you offer direct billing?

Yes. Motion Crafters offers direct billing for supported private insurance, MVA, and WCB claims when the insurer or claim permits it. Coverage, authorization, and any unpaid balance remain subject to the individual plan or claim.

Can I come in as a walk-in?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome subject to provider availability. Booking through Jane or calling ahead is recommended so we can reserve enough time for your appointment.

Do you treat motor vehicle accident and workplace injuries?

Yes. Physiotherapy is available for motor vehicle accident rehabilitation, workplace injuries and WCB claims, sports injuries, and private pain or mobility concerns. Bring any claim number, adjuster details, or authorization information you already have.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

Bring photo ID, insurance or claim details, relevant reports, and comfortable clothing that allows the affected area to move. A referral is welcome if you have one but is not required for private physiotherapy.

How do I book an appointment?

Book online through Jane at motioncrafters.janeapp.com or call (587) 449-3647. Current appointment availability is shown in Jane.
